Generation game
On the recent tour from Ireland, their under 8s and under 11s played Aspull juniors. The men in the middle were father and son Manny Flores and his 15 year old son Jordan Flores both refereeing.
Manny is chairmen of Aspull juniors and Jordan is an excellent footballer with a great future. Father and son are pictured with Cllrs Conway and Ready.
Chris Ready watched both games and gave his verdict on the refs performances: "Jordan handled the game from start to finish always keeping up with the game with some excellent decisions, in contrast to his dad who struggled to keep up with the under 8s!"
On a serious note the games were a great success.
